GO GREEN ART

PETR ZINKE
*1966

The author’s primary focus in the long run has been the photography of landscape – wild as well as urbanised. He records the autonomous life of abandoned orchards, communities whose inhabitants have been expelled, or, on the other hand, the human invasion of land-scapes in immediate neighbourhood of towns. He works with landscape motifs where the nature acts as a kind of co-author rather than just a “model”. Another of his approaches consists in creating compositions of collected natural materials. The natural objects become part of a new aesthetic and symbolic platform and at the same time maintain their original traits.
